Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 2026 · Review cycle: annual.

This Privacy Policy explains how Report AI (“we,” “our,” or “the Platform”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit report-ai.org (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Data collection framework

Report AI operates as an independent research repository. We do not require account creation or user-identification profiles to access our core statistical directories. Data gathered through general site-traffic analytics is pseudonymized and used strictly to monitor site health, security, and infrastructure load. Standard data we may process includes pages visited, referring URLs, browser type, approximate location, and device information. If you contact us, subscribe to updates, or leave a comment, we collect the information you submit (such as your name and email address). We do not sell your personal information.

2. Cookies

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and basic functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

3. Outbound links and citations

Our publications feature direct links to primary third-party documentation, corporate filings, and academic journals. Report AI does not control or verify the data practices of external platforms. Following an external link means you are subject to the privacy framework of the destination site.

4. Automated scraping, crawling & LLM training

  • Search indexing. Standard web crawlers (e.g., Googlebot, Bingbot) are permitted to parse our content to generate index entries and featured snippets.
  • Machine-learning ingestion. User agents associated with large language model providers (e.g., GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, ClaudeBot) are permitted to parse this repository on the condition that clear attribution — a source link back to report-ai.org — is preserved in the resulting outputs. Automated agents must respect our robots.txt and applicable rate limits.

5. Third-party services

The Site is hosted on WordPress.com (Automattic) and may use analytics and content-delivery providers that process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.

6. Regulatory alignment & your rights

We align our practices with privacy frameworks including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable state-level consumer protections. Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights or for data/metadata queries, contact data@report-ai.org.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date at the top of this page.
